Picking a foliar fungicide for your pulses
5 août 2022
Once a pulse crop has overcome early emergence and stand establishment challenges, it’s crucial to protect yield and quality with a foliar fungicide under conditions that are conducive to disease.
Choosing the right fungicide to address the toughest diseases your crop is facing is the next step in realizing the yield potential of your investment and capitalizing on your early season successes to maximize yield.

Elatus® vs. Miravis® Neo – what’s the difference?
Elatus® is a dual mode of action fungicide that contains the high-performing active ingredient Solatenol® (Group 7) for excellent activity on key foliar diseases in lentils.
The chemical structure of Solatenol® gives it two advantages over other SDHIs like Xemium®® (fluxapyroxad) in Priaxor® or Dyax® fungicides. First, it has a stronger affinity to fungal pathogen receptor sites, resulting in higher potency and improved disease control. It also binds to the waxy layer of the leaf, preventing the plant from metabolizing it as quickly as competitor fungicides for longer residual disease control.

Miravis® Neo is the only three mode of action pulse fungicide. It delivers long-lasting, consistent protection against key diseases like Ascochyta and Mycosphaerella blight in chickpeas and peas, and is formulated with ADEPIDYN® (Group 7) – a breakthrough SDHI mode of action fungicide.
ADEPIDYN® belongs to the carboxamide chemical class and has a succinate dehydrogenase inhibition (SDHI) mode of action. It combines the best features of previous fungicides in its class to deliver unprecedented power, stamina and spectrum.
