Cruiser Maxx Cereals is a new, commercially-applied cereal seed treatment that combines the broad spectrum disease protection of Dividend XL RTA and the Power of Cruiser®.
Dividend XL RTA contains the systemic triazole fungicide, difenoconazole, and the systemic phenylamide fungicide, metalaxyl-M. Dividend XL RTA protects the seed, the emerging shoot and the young seedling from the inside out. This systemic action can result in faster starts, stronger stands, more heads and the potential for bigger yields.
Thiamethoxam, the active ingredient in Cruiser, moves systemically throughout the plant and protects against target pests through contact and stomach activity. Once absorbed through contact or feeding, Cruiser interferes with the receptors in an insect that transmit the message to feed. As a result, the insect stops feeding and the plant is protected.
