Group 11 fungicide
Mode of Action
Azoxystrobin, the innovative active ingredient in Dynasty, provides a unique mode of action that offers improved disease protection against all four classes of fungal pathogens including a broad spectrum of activity across all Pythium species. Azoxystrobin prevents disease pathogens from ever taking hold and works systemically to stop diseases from spreading during the early stages of development. In independent field tests, Dynasty has consistently outperformed competitive products, providing higher plant stands and yields – ultimately resulting in elevated crop profitability.
Group 11 = Quinone outside Inhibitors – Affects cellular respiration
Where possible, rotate the use of Dynasty 100FS or other Group 11 fungicides with different groups that control the same pathogens. Dynasty 100FS is a strobilurin fungicide; therefore, continuous or sequential use of strobilurin fungicide within or during successive growing seasons must be avoided or reduced. Dynasty 100FS is not cross-resistant with other classes of fungicide that have different modes of action. Seed treatment use should be based on an IPM program that includes scouting, historical information related to pesticide use and crop rotation and considers cultural, biological and other chemical control practices.
Monitor treated fungal populations for sign of resistance development. If disease continues to progress after treatment with this product, do not increase the use rate. Discontinue use of this product, and switch to another fungicide with a different target site of action, if available. Contact your local extension specialist or certified crop advisors for any additional pesticide resistance-management and/or IPM recommendations for specific crops and disease problems in your area.
