| | | Key Responsibilities: | | | Lead Business Planning & Forecasting activities in demand planning APO global process for Canada, including managing event planning and demand management of commercial requirements in the planning systems (gALt, EDF, APO).
Coordinate and lead the Pre-SOP meeting process with Commercial to communicate supply plan cycle changes and maintain the supply requirement information in gALt that feeds the planning systems.
Establish and implement the 2+ yr product procurement plan that is consistent with the S&OP product demand and timeline.
Maintain balanced, accurate current +2 year supply plans in the ERP system (APO) and lead communications with Regional and Global planners on monthly demand changes and requirements.
Develop purchase requirement plan and implement purchasing of IC materials (AI, imported intermediates and finished goods) with NAFTA and Global planning in line with established procurement plan.
Develop, maintain and communicate master production schedule with 3rd party tollers in Canada to meet product demand plan.
Assist Head of Supply in developing strategic planning items including annual Budget and LE submissions, Inventory provisions, 5 yr strategic plans, siting decisions.
Co-ordinate Range Management for Canada NPI including range addition applications and data set-up in SAP, gAlt, and APO planning systems.
Manage all planning and costing master data maintenance for Supply Chain in SAP, APO.
Canada administrator of gAlt collaborator forecast engine and EDF event planning tool.
Represent Canada in NAFTA ERP groups in Planning/Purchasing, ROP, SAP stakeholder, and other groups as required.
Manage the Cost Accounting activities for supply chain including product costing, KPI management and reporting, and monthly variance account monitoring to Finance and Supply Manager.
Co-ordinate and lead process and procedural improvements to ERP systems including training of new methods to SC group and work with IS in implementation of SAP/APO improvement projects for Canada.
| | | Position Guidelines: | | | • Degree is an asset or post-secondary diploma in business or purchasing/planning.
• Strong knowledge of the MRP Process.
• Familiarity with business forecast and/or demand management
• Project Management Certification would be an asset.
• Knowledge of Supply operations processes and procedures.
• Advanced Knowledge of SAP/APO Planning and Controlling Modules
• Knowledge of Syngenta products or competitor agricultural products is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail.
