| | | Key Responsibilities: | | | • Meet or ideally exceed territory sales and market share targets and objectives.
• Demonstrate a commitment and focus to our customers and retailers, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Analyze territory markets: end-user practices/needs, statistics, technology, economic conditions, centres of influence and value chain participants.
• Develop and implement annual territory business plans to influence end-user demand, in cooperation with key retail channel partners.
• Develop and manage a Pivotal database and key customer and retailer profiles including sales information for sales analysis and end-user activity planning.
• Develop and manage end-user and retail channel relationships through direct calls, workshops, seminars, demonstration tours and the professional management of performance inquiries.
| | | Position Guidelines: | | | • 12-Month Contract Position
• Minimum B.Sc. in Agriculture or Commerce
• Solid sales experience in a related field
• Certified Crop Science Certification (completed or in progress) and/or CCA an asset
• Knowledge of agriculture including agronomics, general cropping practices, agricultural technology and trends and requirements for pest control
• Strong technical knowledge of Syngenta and competitive products
• A passion for customer satisfaction
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Strongly committed to a teamwork environment
• Skilled with Microsoft Office
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
