About this Product

A new tool against pink rot

When applied as a seed treatment, Revus® fungicide provides suppression of pink rot in potatoes by preventing daughter tubers from becoming infected. Revus can be used as part of an integrated approach to target fields where you have had pink rot issues in previous seasons, on your more susceptible varieties, and in tandem with other in-furrow, foliar and post-harvest fungicides.

Application Information

Use Rates

13 – 26 mL / 100 kg seed (or 3.25-6.5 g a.i./100 kg seed); use the higher rate when conditions favour heavy infection pressure. 

Water Volume

Apply a  total slurry volume of 130 mL/100 kg seed or 60 mL/cwt.seed. So add 117 mL of water if lower rate is used and 104 mL of water if higher rate is used.

Application Information

  • Revus will not cure pre-existing infection in potato seed pieces.
  • Revus used as a seed piece treatment will not prevent late blight infection of plants or tubers after germination.
  • If Revus fungicide is used as a potato seed piece treatment it may limit the number of foliar applications permitted based on the amount of active ingredient allowed per season – 600 g a.i./ha (243 g a.i. / ac).

*If Revus Fungicide was used as potato seed piece treatment apply a fungicide belonging to a group other than Group 40 as the first foliar application of the season.

Effects of Weather

The ideal air temperature during seed treatment and storage is 10 °C and relative humidity is 80 - 90%. Follow Syngenta Seedcare™ Best Management Practices for more information.

Use Restrictions

Shake or mix well before using. DO NOT use open treating equipment when treating potato seed pieces. This product must be applied using a closed treatment system. Uneven or incomplete seed coverage may not give the desired level of disease control. Follow the manufacturer’s application instructions for the seed treatment equipment being used.

Tank Mixes

Revus may be tank-mixed with Cruiser Maxx® Potato Extreme or Maxim® D to increase the spectrum of controlled diseases from a single seed treatment application.
