Our business

At Syngenta, our purpose is Bringing plant potential to life.

Whether it’s a corn plant in Ontario, a canola plant in Saskatchewan or the greens on a Quebec golf course, our proven pipeline of products and dedicated team work hard to bring customers solutions for success. That commitment goes beyond our innovative products. We build partnerships throughout the food value chain to make a difference – economically, environmentally and socially.

Growing plants is a complicated business. Here are some of the ways we help:

Digital

Syngenta is harnessing the power of digital agriculture, turning data into meaningful information. In Canada, Cropwise™ is a digital platform enabling practical and proactive decision-making by providing relevant agronomic insight to help growers manage their farm more efficiently and effectively while mitigating risk.

Where we work

We are everywhere crops are grown. As a pan-Canadian organization, we have offices in Guelph, Ontario, and in Calgary, Alberta, three research farms in Ontario and Manitoba, and remote employees from coast to coast.
