Risk evaluation app predicts lentil disease

Steve Shirtliffe at the University of Saskatchewan is building a system that uses satellite and drone-based imagery to predict aphanomyces root rot in lentils. The system, called the Aphanomyces Risk Evaluation App (AREA), presents a history of every field on the Prairies going back 13 years. It’s available to everyone free of charge.
