It is nearly time for your Botryticides in grapes. As we approach bloom, protect those flowers against the primary source of infection.

When is it time to use Miravis^® Prime?

In grapes, Miravis^® Prime (Group 7 and 12) brings dual modes of action for Botrytis and long-lasting protection against powdery mildew.

• Generally, Miravis^® Prime is applied at trace bloom through to berry touch. 
• Apply at 0.32 to 0.4 L/acre.
• Over the last four years, Miravis^® Prime has provided Botrytis control you can count on to protect yield and quality. 

 

What if I am looking for something different to fight Botrytis this year? 

Allegro^® (Group 29) recently received a registration for Botrytis control in grapes. As a contact fungicide with antisporulant activity, Allegro is a new tool in the toolbox. Within a 5-spray program, Allegro application at berry touch resulted in 99% Botrytis-free grapes compared to 96% for Elevate^®.
