Syngenta Canada is proud to volunteer with Food Banks Canada to tackle childhood hunger through 'After the Bell' - a program that provides nutritious food packs to families across 235 Canadian communities during summer months when school meal programs are unavailable.
On May 14, our volunteer team worked alongside other corporate partners to assemble 215,000 food packs containing healthy, kid-friendly items. These packs are now being distributed to local food banks, ensuring students have access to proper nutrition even when school is out.
"What a great cause, it was such a privilege to participate, and we had a blast!" says Christina Stroud, Head of Corporate Affairs. Read Christina's full reflection on LinkedIn.
This initiative aligns with our broader Zero Hunger Challenge, through which we're working year-round to address rural hunger in Canada. The 'After the Bell' program represents one of many ways we're turning our commitment to food security into meaningful action. For more information visit our Zero Hunger Challenge page.
