Syngenta Canada adds Atuva Chickpea to the Atuva family of pulse and soybean inoculants

Guelph, Ontario, Canada

Atuva® Chickpea has been added to the Atuva family of inoculants from Syngenta, known as a trusted source of seed- and soil-applied rhizobia bacteria that promote nodulation in pulse and soybean crops for effective biological nitrogen fixation.

Atuva Chickpea is an all-in-one liquid formulation with Osmo Protection Technology protecting the inoculant against common stressors, such as temperature, moisture and seed treatments, by strengthening the cell membranes of rhizobia bacteria.

It comes in a highly concentrated formulation with no mixing required and a low application rate. The on-seed life of 15 days gives growers a wider window of time for seeding after treatment.

Atuva Chickpea is sold in a case containing 2 x 5.45 L bladders and has a shelf life of one season.

The addition of Atuva Chickpea to the Syngenta inoculant offering reflects a commitment to bringing quality solutions to soybean, pea and lentil growers.

Atuva inoculants are tested with leading seed treatments so Canadian growers can manage their on-seed disease protection knowing the inoculant will perform. Compatibility testing has been performed at the Syngenta Seedcare Institute, third-party laboratories, as well as RIZOBACTER, a global leader in agricultural microbiological products.
