- The most complete weed control for corn with powerful burndown and long-lasting residual activity
- Four complementary active ingredients to manage the toughest resistant weeds
- Flexible, solution for cleaner fields that maximize crop quality and yield potential
Syngenta Canada Inc. is proud to introduce Storen™ corn herbicide, the latest addition to the Eastern Canada Foundation Acre® lineup, helping take weed control to the next level.
Storen is flexible, with a wide application window from pre-plant to four-leaf corn, offering burndown and residual control ensuring clean fields when it’s most needed – from emergence to canopy closure.
“The Foundation Acre approach to weed management has, for many years, helped growers successfully reduce the impact of weeds on corn yields,” says Joe Vink, technical lead for herbicides with Syngenta Canada. “As herbicide resistance continues to evolve, as seen in waterhemp and Palmer amaranth, growers are looking for new approaches to keep their corn fields clean. We are proud to deliver on that next step in weed control with a flexible solution in Storen.”
Storen is formulated with four active ingredients and can be tank mixed with AAtrex® Liquid 480 or glyphosate for more dependable, longer-lasting weed control. Storen and AAtrex Liquid 480 applied together provide critical management of emerging and resistant weed threats including waterhemp, Canada fleabane, Palmer amaranth and annual bluegrass.
“We’ve performed more than 60 grower field trials in Eastern Canada with Storen mixed with AAtrex Liquid 480 and have consistently seen clean fields through to harvest with zero compromise,” shares Vink.
Storen is available for 2026 in limited quantities and sold in a 450 L tote.
“As leaders in corn weed management, Syngenta continually evaluates the toolbox growers need to maximize their yield through clean fields,” says Jon Cressman, product lead for eastern herbicides with Syngenta Canada. “Storen gives growers the ability to keep their corn rows clean by controlling weeds in season and giving them a head start on next year’s management by reducing the weed seed bank.”
